Invasion, war, famine, repression and conflict - Irish history has always been a rich source of comedy..
In our latest program, comedian Tim McGarry will showcase his very own, idiosyncratic take on Irish history in an exclusive one hour stand-up performance at the newly opened Antrim Court House Theatre.
The live shows will be filmed in Antrim on the 4th and 5th of June and highlights throughout the show will be animated by Flickerpix's expert 2D animation crew.
The final program (consisting of Tim's stand up show and our animated inserts) will be aired on BBC in the autumn.. very much in post shed.
Expect Tim to answer the questions other historians dare not even think about -
What did the Irish monks really get up to at night?
Do black and tan really go together?
And never mind who started the Troubles, who won them?
